Terre Aborigène follows a journey in the land of the Arrente and Anangu people,
whose ancestral grounds are in the central north of Australia. The route travels
west from Alice Springs, along the West MacDonnell ranges, then south along
the Finke river toward the sacred site of Kata Tjuta (many heads).
In the 'Dreamtime', the creation myth of the original inhabitants of Australia,
the presence of the 'Ancestor Spirits' who created the world are reflected
in the shape of the land - its mountains, rocks, riverbeds, and waterholes.
